• This is a beautiful dining table and chairs set. The wood is as shown in the picture. This is NOT a light weight set. It is HEAVY and very well made. The chairs are big and have amble seating room for those big guys. I like the fact that the seat is full and your legs are not dangling off a seat that is too short. I would recommend this set highly. It is made to last a long time. 5 Stars from me!!
• For over a year, I have been shopping for a pedestal table. I had a hard time finding one that is not too big or too expensive. I live in an apartment, and the dinning area opens up to the living room. The set is very handsome and sturdy. It adds elegance with out dwarfing my space, and very practical too. I love round tables it just brings the family and those that dine with you closer. I was very shocked at how well made and heavy it is. The chairs are wonderful, they are big, sturdy and comfortable -- for the big guys, and big that my tots will not slip off. Easy to assemble, I assembled it myself. This is a piece that well be around for a very long time, and have more than one use. The chairs are handsome enough to sit on their own in a hallway or a bedroom. And the dinning table can be used in a large parlor or large living room as a center piece.

• When i first saw the set on the internet it looked much bigger and very steady when i had it delivered to my house and put it up witch was very easy to do the table was a lot smaller then i had thought and the wood was light i already have a few nicks and dents in it just from putting it up so if you don’t have kids and animals this table might be okay but if you do you might want to get one a little bigger and stronger
